Wordsmith Journal
Choose the Next Step
We begin with a conversation about the writer’s goals, interests, challenges, and the types of writing they want to explore.
Using what I learn from the initial consultation, I create a personalized Free Writing Trial. This is a single, one-on-one free lesson that introduces the Wordsmith approach through practical and creative writing challenges.
After the trial, every writer receives a digital Wordsmith Journal highlighting their strengths, skills to develop, possible writing paths, and personalized recommendations. It gives the writer and their family a clear picture of where they are now and what they could work toward next.
If the writer enjoys the free trial, the next step depends on their goals. This could be a set number of sessions for a specific need, semester-long tutoring for school support and stronger grades, or a Custom Tutoring Plan that combines academic help with a larger project that can be used for a portfolio or future résumé.
